About the Client :
With its foundation of the Brand way back in 1760 in the UK and modest beginnings in India in 1923, today, Berger Paints India Limited is the second largest paint company in the country with a consistent track record of being one of the fastest growing paint companies, quarter on quarter, for the past few years.
Project Requirements :
Berger Paints wanted to empower every common man to visualize its color palette and pattern options on the walls of their homes in real time. Which means no waiting team for the image to upload or no post processing effects that makes it tiring for the user to experiment through the variety of options that Berger Paints provides.
XR Labs Solution :
Right from the beginning, we knew the app has to deliver the following key features
- The App should be able to differentiate walls from the windows, doors or any other obstacle.
- The colour manipulation should not be a mere slap on the wall but actually take into account the lighting and shadows
- The App should also support the complex Patterns of Berger Paints Portfolio
- The App, while doing all the above should still size under 50MB for the majority of the Indian digital population to download and use.
XR labs created an advanced Computer Vision, Machine Learning Powered Augmented Reality App that recognises separate surfaces and manipulates the colour naturally without losing the lighting and shadow features.
