About the Client :
Kudankulam Nuclear Power Plant (KKNPP) is the single largest nuclear power station in India, situated in Koodankulam in the Tirunelveli district of the southern Indian state of Tamil Nadu.
It is built in collaboration with Atomstroyexport, the Russian state company and Nuclear Power Corporation of India Limited (NPCIL), with an installed capacity of 6,000 MW of electricity.
Project Requirements :
As part of the information center that is being built for explaining the technical principles and safety features of KKNPP a multi lingual, easy to use experience was required to give an engaging site and technical tour of KKNPP with special focus on infrastructure like Fishbed Protection, Reactor Core Building etc.

XR Labs built a marker based AR interactive experience that projects the entire nuclear power plant on the table, and lets the user deep dive into specific technical installations such as Reactor Core, Turbine Building, Fishbed Protection etc.
