Petromin Corporation (Petromin) is a leading lubricants and automotive services company in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia operating four lines of business: oil lubricants, car servicing (Petromin Express), fuel retailing and car dealerships. With more than 5,000 employees, Petromin exports its products to over 40 countries in the GCC, Middle East, Africa and Asia.
Project Requirements :
Petromin Nissan was the first Automotive Dealer in the Middle East to move to a full virtual car sales and marketing suite when the pandemic struck in 2020.
With a suite of Augmented Reality Application, Virtual Reality Showroom and Virtual Reality Test Drive experience, encompassing the entire Nissan Saudi Lineup of 9 Cars for the year 2020, and Content Management and Insights Dashboard, Petromin Saudi looked for an end to end XR Sales and Marketing Suite.
As part of the suite, Petromin wanted to develop a VR Test Drive to enable engaging offline activations, reduce the dependency on actual cars for Test Drive.
XR Labs Solution :
As part of the requirement, XR Labs built a comprehensive Virtual Reality Test Drive Experience that is loaded with functionalities that are value adding to both the RoI and the end user journey such as
- Environments modeled after real heritage and tourist landmarks of Saudi Arabia such as the Asir Mountains, Dhiriya Race Track and Al Ula.
- Integrated with Haptic Feedback Steering Kit to simulate the real driving experience.
